Alverin Collodial Silver Spray Gel
Key Ingredients
Glycerin
A clear, colorless, syrupy liquid, used as a humectant and as a solvent for drugs; it is a tryhydric
sugar alcohol — the alcohol component of triglycerides (Saunders, 799).
Performance
• A by-product of soap manufacture, it is a sweet warm-tasting, oily fluid obtained by adding
alkalies to fats and fixed oils. A solvent, humectant, and emollient in many cosmetics, it absorbs
moisture from the air and, therefore, helps keep moisture in creams and other products, even
if the consumer leaves the cap off the container. Also helps product to spread more evenly
(Winter, 220).
Colloidal Silver
Studies performed at The University of North Texas concluded colloidal silver is a mixture of,
“Extremely tiny, bioactive particles of silver held in a suspension of water, [and] positively charged
silver ions, which are single atoms of silver with an electron missing.”
Colloidal
A chemical system composed of a continuous medium throughout which are distributed small
particles (Saunders, 405).
Performance
• Silver in both of these forms (commonly known as colloidal silver) has been scientifically proven
to kill nearly every type of infection causing organism, and in a time frame of between 90

activity
